Organic Agriculture Certification Thailand (ACT) is an organization operating under ACT Organic Company Limited, which was established in 1995 as Certification Body. currently provides inspection and certification services to 3 international organic standards in 8 scopes related to plant and food production. In addition, ACT Cosmetic and Healthcare Products Standards 2019 have been created to provide certification services to operator.

First, the applicant for certification should check the requirements for certification, such as what standards do they want to request certification for? What scope? In which countries are customers purchasing organic produce/products located? What laws/regulations do those destination countries have for importing organic products? And what organic standards do those countries accept? (For example: Mr. Khiao is a farmer who grows lemongrass. There is a place to trimming and packing produce on his farm. There is a need to request certification of organic fresh lemongrass to send to customers in France. Mr. Khiao must request certification in the scope of crop production according to the European Union (EU) regulations because France is one of the EU member states. 

Second, applicants for certification must understand the requirements according to the organic standards for which they want to certify. Including general manual, you can view information in the Organic Certification and download information in the Document.

Third, if you have made a decision, contact ACT officials by phone or email at the Contact Us or fill out the certification application form. After the staff receives the information, they will contact you within 15 days.

Certification application fee (first year)

1. Application document fee: 3,210 baht (only for new applications in the first year) 

2. Certification fee for each scope/1 Standard program/1 year 

2.1 Crop production (on-farm processing) starting at 25,000 baht/year 

2.2 Processing starting at 35,000 baht/year 

2.3 Commercial inputs starting at 35,000 baht/year 

2.4 Grower group starting at 50,000/year 

2.5 Wild harvest starting at 25,000 years 

2.6 Livestock starts at 25,000 baht/year. 

2.7 Beekeeping starts at 25,000 baht/year. 

2.8 Aquaculture starts at 25,000 baht/year.
