Applicants must be producer groups or operators having contracts to purchase products from crop, livestock or aquaculture producers.
Producers may either sell their produce to the applicants either as primary products or after processing it with household based methods.
The applicants must also apply for certification of processing and handling if that is part of their organic operations.
Group certifications are available under the following programs:
- IFOAM Program (IFOAM-Accredited)
- EU Program (EU organic regulations)
- U.S.-Canada Program (COR and NOP-equivalent)
